How can I publish a contest?
Click on the “Announce the contest” button on the menu. Fill out the design form. Please, give as much detail as possible. Your contest will be published on the website after the payment.
What do I do if I don’t like any of the concepts?
In case a contest holder is not satisfied by any of the submitted designs, he should inform the website administrator about it and the contest will be extended by 7 additional days.
Do I own the logo?
Yes. The copyright of the selected (bought) design belongs to the contest holder. The copyright of other designs in the contest belongs to the designers.
Can I change the information about the contest?
You can change the information about your contest while your contest is “Not active” (not paid for). When the contest is “Active”, only small changes can be made. You can do it on your own by posting a comment to the contest page or contact the administrator.
Is it possible to increase the price of the contest?
Yes. The price of the contest can be increased by contacting the administrator. The price of the contest can’t be decreased, though.
How can I rate the designs?
The contest holder can rate the designs in 5 stars system, where 5 stars mean the best design and 1 star the poorest. This will help the designers to understand the taste and needs of the contest holder better. Also, the preliminary winners can be predicted by selecting 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, while the contest is “Active”.
When do I have to choose the winners?
The winner has to be chosen within 3 days after the end of the contest. If the contest holder does not appoint the winner during this time, the winner will be chosen by the administrator according to the evaluations and comments of a client.
Which format of the design file will I get?
After the contest the winning designer will send you the package of the design files in zip format.
If the design of the contest is meant to be used for print (for example, logo, business card, flyer), the designer will send you a vector format file (EPS), as well as JPG, PNG (transparent background) and PDF archived files.
In case the design is not meant to be used for print (for example, website’s design), you will get a psd format file.
I would like to participate in contests, how do I begin?
If you wish to participate in the design contest, you have to register on the website as a designer.
I’ve won the contest, what is next?
If you’ve won the contest, the contest holder will get your contact details and has to contact you for the full payment, which is determined by your mutual agreement. After the payment has been made, you have to provide the contest holder with the final package of the design files (in zip format), which consists of: vector EPS, JPG, PNG (transparent background), PDF files, the file of fonts.txt, which will include the names of the fonts used in the design.
Which format of the design file it should be?
If the design of the contest is meant to be used for print (for example, logo, flyer, business card and so on), the main file of the design has to be a vector EPS, and the additional files will be JPG, PNG (transparent background), files of PDF design and fonts.txt file, including the names of the fonts used in the design.
If the design of the contest is not meant to be used for print, for example, a website design, a psd file will be enough. However, you should also include a font.txt file naming all the fonts used in the design.
All of the files have to be archived in one ZIP archive.
How much will I be paid?
According to the rules of the website, the winning designer has to be provided with the sum, which has been indicated in the contest description.
How do I get paid?
The price of the contest has to be transferred to the winner designer’s paypal account within 3 days. Other way of payment can be determined by the mutual agreement of the contest holder and the designer.
